Job summary

HCLTech Australia and New Zealand is seeking a Release Manager (Supply Chain) to plan, coordinate, and manage the release of supply chain applications, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Release Management, Change Management, or IT Service Management.
  • Strong understanding of Supply Chain Management processes and systems.
  • Experience with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Dynamics 365, Manhattan, Blue Yonder, or Kinaxis.
  • Knowledge of ITIL framework, Change Management, and Release Governance.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and coordination skills.
  • Experience with Agile, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple releases in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage release plans, schedules, and deployment strategies for supply chain applications and platforms.
  • Coordinate with business stakeholders, project managers, developers, QA teams, infrastructure teams, and vendors to ensure successful releases.
  • Lead release governance activities, including release readiness reviews, change approvals, and deployment sign-offs.
  • Ensure all releases meet quality, compliance, security, and business requirements before production deployment.
  • Manage release calendars and dependencies across multiple projects and environments.
  • Monitor post-release performance, identify issues, and coordinate incident resolution activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement in release management processes, automation, and deployment practices.
  • Support supply chain systems covering areas such as Procurement, Inventory Management, Logistics, Warehouse Management, Demand Planning, and Order Fulfillment.
  • Maintain release documentation, deployment procedures, rollback plans, and audit records.
  • Work closely with business teams to minimize risks and ensure smooth adoption of new features and enhancements.

Release Manager – Supply Chain

A Release Manager (Supply Chain) is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing the release of supply chain applications, systems, and enhancements into production environments while ensuring minimal business disruption and maximum operational efficiency.
