About the role:

Our client is seeking a Release Coordinator to support the delivery and uplift of enterprise release management practices across high-impact business and technology functions. This role offers a unique opportunity to work within a fast-paced and highly regulated banking environment, supporting the coordination of complex release activities and aligning processes across cross-functional teams.

You will work closely with IT release leads, project delivery teams, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless planning, governance, and execution of releases across critical banking systems.

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with IT release managers and key stakeholders to design and embed release management processes across enterprise delivery streams.
• Coordinate and maintain release artefacts, calendars, and workflows to support structured and compliant deployment cycles.
• Liaise with development, testing, and change management teams to ensure readiness across all stages of the release lifecycle.
• Assist with the development of procedural documentation and support training efforts to onboard teams into new release practices.
• Support integration of release practices into BAU operations, ensuring alignment with governance, risk, and compliance standards.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• Experience in release coordination or support within large-scale enterprise or financial services environments.
• Demonstrated ability to manage stakeholder engagement and collaborate across multiple business and technology teams.
• Solid understanding of release and change management, including dependencies, test cycles, and cutover activities.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills with experience in drafting IT procedures, process flows, and release plans.
• Comfortable working in structured environments with multiple concurrent projects and regulatory oversight.
• Prior experience in banking, payments, or financial platforms.
• Familiarity with Informatica (PowerCenter or Cloud) for data movement and integration.
• Exposure to ITIL-based change and release frameworks.
• Working knowledge of Agile or hybrid delivery models using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and ServiceNow.
• Understanding of enterprise test and deployment coordination across integrated systems.
