Job summary

St. Scholastica's Catholic Primary School in Burwood is seeking a motivated classroom teacher to join on 0.24 FTE, one day a week (Wednesdays), starting 27 January 2027.

The role includes supporting the Catholic ethos, applying the Victorian Curriculum, and building strong relationships with students and families. The successful candidate will have VIT registration and accreditation to teach RE in a Catholic School or be willing to obtain it, with a focus on explicit instruction and MACS'

Qualifications

• Must hold VIT registration and accreditation to teach RE or be willing to obtain.
• Experience implementing explicit instruction methods to improve learning outcomes.
• Demonstrated understanding of the Victorian Curriculum and school vision.

St. Scholastica's Catholic Primary School located in Burwood is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and friendly classroom teacher to join our school one day a week on Wednesdays 0.24 FTE commencing 27th January, 2027.

The successful applicant will be required to:

• support the Catholic ethos of the school
• display knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum
• build and maintain positive respectful relationships with students, colleagues and parents
• work flexibly and collaboratively within staff teams
• have a knowledge and/ or experience in explicit Instruction, vision of learning and vision of engagement
• demonstrate understanding and implementation of MACS' Explicit Instruction model to support effective teaching and improved student learning outcomes.
