Bendigo Bank Private Banking Services (PBS) is seeking talent to join a high‑performing, client‑focussed team in Melbourne. You will provide holistic financial guidance across business, personal and investment needs for high-net-worth clients, executives and investors.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, growth, and collaboration within a supportive, risk‑aware culture. Based in our Melbourne CBD office, the role offers hybrid work options and opportunities for professional development

Qualifications

• Proven ability to build and nurture client relationships across commercial, corporate and personal banking.
• Experience in acquiring clients, managing transactions and negotiating in a banking environment.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and expand the PBS client portfolio by meeting lending, deposit, and revenue targets.
• Build and nurture strategic relationships within Bendigo Bank and with external partners.

Private Banking Services (PBS), a thriving franchise of Bendigo Bank, offers a unique, client-focused banking experience to high-net-worth individuals, executives, business owners, and investors. We’ve seen significant growth since our launch in 2002 and are looking for talented individuals to join our highly experienced and collaborative team. At PBS, you’ll provide holistic financial guidance, supporting clients across their business, personal, and investment needs.

In this role you’ll get to…

• Cultivate and expand our client portfolio by exceeding lending, deposit, and revenue targets.
• Build and nurture strategic relationships within and outside of Bendigo Bank.
• Lead marketing and business development initiatives to attract new clients and enhance brand awareness.
• Collaborate effectively with the PBS team to identify and capitalise on growth opportunities.
• Contribute actively to team meetings and strategic discussions.
• Comply with Bendigo Bank’s policies, procedures, and risk management protocols.

What you’ll bring to the role

To be successful in the role you will have:

• Proven success in relationship-building and business development within commercial, corporate, and consumer banking. Direct experience with non-broker clients is a plus.
• Experience in customer acquisition, transaction management, and negotiation in a banking environment.
• Significant experience in Commercial/Corporate/Property lending, preferably with Advanced Accreditation.
• Strong understanding of banking systems, processes, policies, and stakeholder collaboration.
• Demonstrated ability to connect with and influence external business leaders.
• Proven track record in building lasting professional relationships.
