Job summary

Keegan Adams Recruitment is seeking an Institutional Relationship Analyst in Sydney to support senior Relationship Managers and Business Development professionals with existing institutional clients and new business opportunities.

You will help with client onboarding, investment implementations, and respond to queries on portfolios and investment strategies, while building deep knowledge of clients and the institutional market.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience within funds or investment management.
• Interest in markets, investments and institutional funds management.
• Strong commercial judgement and intellectual curiosity.
• Confident communicator who can engage effectively with senior stakeholders.
• Analytical, organised and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior Relationship Managers with client onboarding and investment implementations.
• Respond to institutional client queries covering portfolios, investment strategies, guidelines and market developments.
• Prepare high-quality information and materials for client and prospect meetings.
• Develop a detailed understanding of clients, their investment priorities and the broader institutional market.
• Maintain accurate client information and activity within CRM systems.
• Keep abreast of market developments and communicate relevant client insights.

Skills & Experience Required:

We're looking for someone with a foundation in investment management who is ready to broaden their exposure and take the next step in their career. Ideally, you will bring:

• 3+ years' experience within funds or investment management
• A genuine interest in markets, investments and institutional funds management
• Strong commercial judgement and intellectual curiosity
• Confident communicator who can engage effectively with senior stakeholders
• Analytical, organised and comfortable working with detailed information
• Collaborative, proactive and keen to learn
• Relevant tertiary qualifications, with CFA study viewed favourably
• Institutional or buy-side experience is advantageous, but not essential
