Qualifications

• Relevant training, certification or qualifications in a related field are desirable.
• Experience planning and running programs, preferably in rehabilitation or social services.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with people who may find it hard to take part.
• Cultural awareness and the ability to work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people with care and respect.
• Flexibility and teamwork to solve problems, support others and adapt to changing needs.

• deliver rehabilitation programs that help people understand their behaviour and make positive changes
• assess each person's needs and match programs to their individual goals
• provide clear guidance and support to help people take part in programs and build life skills
• keep accurate records and review program results to help improve services
