The Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN) is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Tarnma Orthopaedic and Amputee Rehabilitation Unit at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Woodville, SA. The role delivers thoughtful nursing care within a multidisciplinary team to support rehabilitation and patient independence.

Permanent full-time and part-time positions are available. You will assess needs, plan care, monitor progress and mentor junior staff while upholding nursing standards and contributing

Qualifications

• Holds or is eligible for NMBA registration.
• Holds or is eligible for a current practising certificate.
• Demonstrates competence in nursing practice.
• Communicates clearly across disciplines.
• Prioritises care and supports patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and plan individual nursing care.
• Support rehabilitation goals with patients and families.
• Monitor progress and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Guide enrolled nurses, assistants and nursing students.
• Improve care through quality reviews and shared learning.
