Job summary

IPAR is seeking passionate Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology professionals to join our Central Coast NSW team as a Rehabilitation Consultant. You will deliver occupational rehabilitation services to clients with physical and psychological conditions, aiming for sustainable return-to-health and return-to-work outcomes.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology.
• General registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA); or Accredited with Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA) – ensure alignment with SIRA requirements.
• Previous experience in Occupational Rehabilitation is highly regarded.
• Excellent communication, time management and empathy are essential.
• Current NSW Driver’s Licence and access to own car with comprehensive insurance.

Responsibilities

• Manage a manageable caseload with support from Rehabilitation Assistants.
• Apply clinical expertise to improve return-to-work outcomes.
• Partner with employers and employees to deliver injury prevention and workplace education programs.
• Collaborate with injured workers, employers, insurers and healthcare professionals.
• Conduct a range of clinical and vocational assessments: initial, workplace, functional capacity, ADL and vocational assessments.
• Identify barriers and design practical solutions to support recovery and return to work.
