Delmar Private Hospital on the beautifully connected Northern Beaches is seeking an Level 1/2 Rehabilitation Exercise Physiologist to join a caring, multidisciplinary team. The role covers inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation with flexible FT/PT hours and a focus on evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

• Current ESSA Registration.
• National Police Check and Working with Children clearance.
• Basic Life Support/CPR Certificate.
• Experience in Rehabilitation/Cardiac or similar setting desirable.
• Demonstrate high level of interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated time management and organisational skills.
• Demonstrated application of sound clinical reasoning skills.
• New graduates welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evidence-based assessment and treatment in busy inpatient/outpatient setting.
• Perform treadmill tests and 6-minute walk tests.
• Provide tailored individual and group exercise programs in gym and hydrotherapy settings.
• Collaborate with MDT for patient care, goal setting and discharge planning.
• Present health education content to groups.
• Support both Full Time and Part-Time weekday work.
