Job summary

Royal Rehab Group, through FNQ Health & Fitness, is seeking an Accredited Exercise Physiologist for a maternity backfill role. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions for a diverse client base in 1-on-1 and group settings.

You will work within a passionate team of Exercise Physiologists, Exercise Scientists, Pilates Instructors and Personal Trainers, providing high-quality, evidence-based care.

Qualifications

• Degree in Exercise Physiology (ESSA accredited preferred).
• ESSA accreditation or eligible for accreditation.
• Ability to work independently as sole clinician and within a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience in clinic or rehabilitation environment desirable.
• Experience working with neurological disorders desirable.
• Strong organisation and time management skills.
• Commitment to patient-centred care and building long-term relationships.
• Motivated and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Identify rehab and disability support needs for clients.
• Develop individualized interventions and therapy plans.
• Deliver high-quality assessment, treatment and evidence-based practice.
• Support client goal setting and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with physiotherapists and other health professionals as required.
• Make referrals to internal and external providers as needed.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and stay updated with latest research.
