IPAR Darwin seeks a Rehab Consultant (Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology or Osteopathy) to join a wellness‑focused, multidisciplinary team. The role supports clients with injuries to return to health and work, offering flexible day-to-day caseloads and collaborative employer partnerships.
Relocation assistance is provided to ensure a smooth move to Darwin. You will work alongside physiotherapists, exercise physiologists and rehabilitation counsellors to deliver comprehensive assessments and
Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology or Osteopathy.
- Provisional or Full Professional Registration with AHPRA or ESSA or ASORC.
- Experience in Occupational Rehabilitation would be highly valued.
- Fabulous communication and time management skills.
- Compassion, kindness and empathy.
- A current NT Driver’s License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance is a must!
Responsibilities
- Case management with support from Rehabilitation Assistants.
- Apply clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes.
- Develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs with employers.
- Collaborate with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals.
- Complete initial, workplace and vocational assessments and review diagnoses, support treatment plans, and identify suitable employment opportunities.

In this diverse role, youwill enjoy the flexibility and autonomy to manage your own day. You willhavethe support of a strong, close team of driven and energetic healthcare professionals with the backing and resources of a global corporate infrastructure. Providing occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of conditions, both physical and psychological and supporting them to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes.
Some of your day to day includes:
Case management (caseloads are manageable, and our consultants have thesupport of Rehabilitation Assistantstoalleviate administrative tasks);
Applying your clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes;
Working with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs;
Working collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals;
Assisting those with an injury or health condition to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes;
Completinga variety of assessments using your clinical skills, including but not limited to initial, workplace and vocational assessments to review diagnosis, support treatment plans, address psychosocial barriers to employment and identify suitable employment opportunities for workers who have sustained workplace injuries or injuries sustained from motor vehicle accidents.

Tertiary qualifications in Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology or Osteopathy
Provisional or Full Professional Registration with AHPRA or Full Professional Accreditation with ESSA or Full ASORC Membership or eligibility to obtain
Previous experience working in Occupational Rehabilitation industry would be highly regarded;
Fabulous communication and time management skills - there is a lot of getting to know your clients and stakeholders!;
You are someone with compassion, kindness and empathy!
A current NT Driver’s License and access to own car with comprehensive insuranceis a must!
