Job summary

Australian National University in Canberra seeks an academic to lead independent research for RadInnovate, contribute to regulation and governance studies, and co-supervise HDR students within RegNet. Holding a PhD in a regulation-related field and strong scholarly credentials, you will foster interdisciplinary collaboration and support industry placements across the centre.

Qualifications

• PhD in a law, regulation or related field with focus on regulating nuclear materials and technologies or emerging techs.
• Strong research and teaching ability expected.
• Willingness to co-supervise HDR students and collaborate with industry partners.

Responsibilities

• Undertake independent research on RadInnovate projects, publishing in top-tier journals.
• Co-supervise HDR students and guide research training.
• Teach into postgraduate programs in regulation and governance.
• Interface between HDR students, ITTC University and industry partners.
