Queensland Government is seeking a Lead Inspector to provide operational leadership to Principal Inspectors, guiding audits and investigations to high standards of quality and integrity. You will mentor teams, manage complex compliance matters and prepare evidence for proceedings as required.

We value strong judgement, regulatory expertise and stakeholder engagement, with a collaborative approach to improving outcomes and ensuring accountable, ethical regulatory practice across the sector.

Qualificações

• Experience leading and supervising inspectors or professionals
• Ability to interpret legislation and prepare written materials
• Court processes and rules of evidence knowledge
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

Responsabilidades

• Lead, supervise and coach inspectors to deliver high-quality audits and investigations
• Manage complex compliance matters under Labour Hire Licensing Act 2017
• Provide expert advice on risk, compliance, investigations and enforcement issues
• Prepare and review reports, administrative decisions and prosecution briefs; give evidence in courts or tribunals when required
