Job summary

Medrecruit is seeking a locum medical practitioner for an Eastern Victoria hospital. The role covers a busy ED with approximately 130,000 annual patients, including maternity, rehabilitation, and elective surgery services. Accommodation is included for the duration of the shifts.

Must hold current AHPRA registration and be prepared to work in a teaching hospital affiliated with Monash University and Federation University. Located about two hours east of Melbourne in Gippsland.

• Hospital is teaching facility closely affiliated with Monash University's School of Rural Health and Federation University.

Responsibilities

• Emergency care duties within a busy Emergency Department.
• Support and participate in elective surgery, maternity, rehabilitation, and mental health services.
• Contribute to overall patient care within a 289‑bed teaching hospital.
