Job summary

SET Consultants Pty Ltd is seeking a Registered Surveyor to lead and manage cadastral, subdivision, and engineering surveys across urban and rural NSW sites. You will coordinate projects through all stages, mentor junior staff, and strengthen client relationships.

The role requires a Bachelor of Surveying with BOSSI NSW registration, extensive experience in land development and infrastructure projects, and proficiency with Total Stations, GNSS, and 3D laser scanners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Surveying (or equivalent) with BOSSI NSW registration.
• Proven experience managing a variety of land development and infrastructure projects.
• Comprehensive understanding of subdivision processes, surveying legislation, and NSW regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver cadastral, subdivision, and engineering surveys across urban and rural sites.
• Coordinate and manage projects through all stages from design to completion.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, councils, consultants, and government authorities.

Registered Surveyor

We’re seeking a Registered Surveyor to lead and manage a range of projects and contribute to the development of our highly skilled team. This role will suit someone who enjoys working in a hands‑on environment with a variety of survey types and the opportunity to mentor junior staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver cadastral, subdivision, and engineering surveys across urban and rural sites.
• Coordinate and manage projects through all stages, from design to completion.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, councils, consultants, and government authorities
• Implement quality standards and ensure all work complies with SET procedures.
• Assist in refining workflows and contributing to the ongoing development of our surveying systems and practices.
• Drive continual improvement by contributing to the development of efficient workflows, systems, and technical practices.

Skills & Experience

• Bachelor of Surveying (or equivalent) with current registration as a Registered Surveyor (BOSSI NSW).
• Proven experience managing a variety of land development and infrastructure projects.
• Comprehensive understanding of subdivision processes, surveying legislation, and regulatory frameworks in NSW.
• Strong technical proficiency with contemporary surveying instruments and software, including Total Stations, GNSS, and 3D Laser Scanners.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with a hands‑on approach to mentoring and project delivery.
• Current Australian driver’s licence and full working rights.
• Commitment to professional integrity, client satisfaction, and continuous improvement.
