Job summary

Azura Psychology is a growing private psychology practice located in Bankstown. We are seeking a warm, experienced Registered Psychologist to join as a subcontractor with a Mid-November start, offering a flexible caseload and hours to suit your private practice.

You will manage own clinical responsibilities, work with adolescent and adult referrals, and have access to on-site admin and marketing support to grow your practice.

Azura Psychology is a growing private psychology practice located within the Thurlow Fisher building on Chapel Road, Bankstown. We are looking for a warm, experienced and compassionate Registered Psychologist to join our team as a subcontractor for Mid-November start. This role would suit a psychologist looking to build or complement their existing private practice caseload while maintaining genuine flexibility over their working hours and client load.

Key responsibilities

• Provide psychological services to clients across a range of mental health concerns
• Manage your own clinical responsibilities autonomously
• Work with referrals primarily consisting of adolescents and adults
• Engage with referral pathways including private and Medicare clients, NDIS, WDO and Workers Compensation
• Participate in monthly peer supervision
• Develop and promote your own areas of clinical interest

About you

• General registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA

• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills
• Ability to practise autonomously and manage your own clinical responsibilities
• Commitment to ethical, client-centred and evidence-based practice
• Experience providing couples counselling (desirable, but not essential)
• SIRA or Victim Services accreditation (desirable, but not essential)
• 70% of billings to you
• Clinic standard fee of $230 per 50-minute session
• Steady stream of referrals provided
