Job summary

Bayside Health is seeking motivated psychiatric registered nurses to join the Alfred Psychiatry Nursing Workforce. You will provide direct patient care in acute and community settings, participate in assessments and care planning, and support patients and families across Bayside Health sites.

Flexibility for shifts across Alfred Hospital, Caulfield Hospital and Sandringham Hospital is highly valued, with opportunities for permanent part-time or full-time roles and professional development.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA)
• Significant experience in mental health settings
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Strong communication with patients, families and staff
• Commitment to patient-centered care and safety

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in acute psychiatric and community settings
• Contribute to care planning, risk and mental-state assessments
• Collaborate with clinicians to support recovery and safety
• Participate in shift coverage across Bayside Health sites as required
• Engage with patients, families and carers to support treatment goals
