Responsibilities

Registered Nurse – Division 1

Plastic, Cosmetic & Reconstructive Surgery | Geelong

Australian Skin Face Body (ASFB) is a leading multidisciplinary specialist practice in Geelong, providing plastic, cosmetic and reconstructive surgery alongside medical skin health, laser and aesthetic services.

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Division 1 Registered Nurse to join our growing team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a nurse who enjoys working in a specialist medical environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care.

Working closely with our plastic surgeons, doctors and broader clinical team, you will play an integral role throughout the patient journey, from consultation and preparation through to post-operative care and follow-up.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing high-quality clinical nursing care to surgical and medical patients
• Assisting our plastic surgeons with procedures and consultations
• Pre-operative and post-operative patient care
• Wound care and dressing management
• Patient education and support throughout the surgical journey
• Assisting with minor procedures and treatments
• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and patient records
• Supporting infection prevention and clinical safety standards
• Assisting with stock management and clinical room preparation
• Working collaboratively with surgeons, doctors, nurses and dermal clinicians
• Providing a warm, professional and reassuring experience for every patient

About You

We are looking for a Division 1 Registered Nurse who is:

• Registered with AHPRA
• Experienced in a surgical, specialist or private medical setting
• Confident working autonomously as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Professional, organised and highly attentive to detail
• Compassionate and patient-focused
• Confident communicating with patients and medical specialists
• Able to remain calm and professional in a busy environment
• Committed to maintaining high clinical and professional standards
• Keen to develop their skills and knowledge within plastic and reconstructive surgery

Previous experience in plastic surgery, theatre, wound care, skin cancer medicine or dermatology is desirable.
