Job summary

Blooms The Chemist Kingaroy is seeking a Registered Pharmacist to join a busy, customer-focused team. You will work up to 38 hours per week across 3–5 days, with weekend shifts on a rotation basis. Opportunities include Full Scope of Practice or HMR training for the right candidate.

You will dispense prescriptions, supervise dispensing activities, counsel patients, and support the dispensary and front-of-shop operations. AHPRA registration and strong leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• AHPRA registration is required to practice as a pharmacist.
• Strong customer service and people management skills are essential.
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational abilities are expected.
• Eye for detail and a high level of accuracy for health industry work.

Responsibilities

• Dispense and supervise prescriptions using DispenseWorks.
• Check prescriptions and Dose Administration Aids prepared by technicians.
• Counsel patients on safe and appropriate medication use.
• Assist with customer service queries and front-of-shop duties.
• Process dispensary orders and maintain inventory.
• Liaise with aged care partners to maintain high service standards.
• Oversee dispensary and front-of-store activities for smooth operation.
