Job summary

Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN) is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Transition Unit at Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre. You will assess patient needs, coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team, and support patients and families while developing clinical skills.

You will deliver person-centred nursing care, maintain clear records, and contribute to safe patient outcomes with guidance for enrolled nurses and students.

Qualifications

• Hold or be eligible for NMBA registration as a nurse.
• Hold or be eligible for a current practising certificate.
• Demonstrate competence in relevant nursing practice.
• Communicate clearly and work well across disciplines.
• Prioritise care and support patients and their families.

About the Role

You’ll take responsibility for your nursing practice and delegated care, maintain clear clinical records and work with colleagues to support safe patient outcomes.

About You

To be successful in this role you will:

• Hold or be eligible for NMBA registration as a nurse.
• Hold or be eligible for a current practising certificate.
• Demonstrate competence in relevant nursing practice.
• Communicate clearly and work well across disciplines.
• Prioritise care and support patients and their families.

You’ll bring sound problem solving skills, a flexible approach and knowledge of nursing standards, relevant legislation and quality improvement. Qualifications relevant to the clinical area and experience in quality improvement are desirable.

Salary packaging includes up to $9,010 for living expenses and $2,650 for meals and entertainment, plus pre-tax superannuation and novated lease options.
