Job summary

Myhealth Top Ryde Urgent Care Clinic is seeking a friendly and passionate Registered Nurse to join our team on a part-time basis, working within our Urgent Care Clinic (UCC). This role involves providing high-quality patient care in a varied clinical environment alongside GPs.

The position covers triage, clinical assessments, ECGs, wound care, and management of fractures, sprains and other acute presentations, with a supportive team and ongoing development through the Myhealth Nurses Academy.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA Registration.
• Experience within Emergency Department/Urgent Care is required.
• Strong communication and patient-focused care.
• Ability to work autonomously when needed.
• Effective prioritisation of clinical workflow.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with GPs to provide patient care in urgent settings.
• Conduct triage, clinical assessments and observations.
• Provide respiratory management and wound care; ECGs and monitoring.
• Manage fractures, sprains and other acute presentations.
• Handle referrals, medical administration and documentation.
• Maintain stock levels of emergency equipment and consumables.

About The Role

We're on the lookout for a friendly and passionate Registered Nurse to join our Myhealth Top Ryde Practice on a part-time basis, working within our Urgent Care Clinic (UCC). This is a great opportunity for a nurse who enjoys a varied clinical environment and is confident caring for patients presenting with acute and urgent health concerns.

The role will involve working closely with GPs to provide high-quality patient care, while using your clinical skills across a range of urgent care presentations.

A Day In The Life

• Work closely with GPs to provide the best patient care
• Conduct triage, clinical assessments and observations management
• Provide respiratory management and wound care
• Manage fractures, sprains and other acute presentations
• Perform ECGs and cardiac monitoring
• Manage referrals, medical administration and clinical documentation
• Maintain stock levels of emergency equipment, dressings, medications and clinical consumables
• Other related duties as required

What we're looking for:

• Current AHPRA Registration
• Previous experience within Emergency Department/ Urgent Care (Required)
• Excellent communication and genuine passion to provide high-quality patient care
• Ability to work autonomously when required
• Strong multitasking abilities and effective prioritisation of workflow
• Best Practice software experience (desirable)
