Job summary

Buderim Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for General Surgical Ward / Orthopaedics. This role supports comprehensive surgical services on the Sunshine Coast with a focus on safe, patient-centred care and teamwork in a 24/7 roster.

The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor of Nursing, be AHPRA-registered, and demonstrate commitment to safety, quality and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 months' experience in an acute care/hospital setting.
• Bachelor of nursing degree or equivalent and AHPRA registration.
• Commitment to patient safety and quality improvements.
• Desire for ongoing professional development.
• Availability to work across a 24/7 fortnightly rotating roster.
• Willingness to obtain required vaccinations and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, holistic care to individuals and families.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide exceptional person-centred care and maintain a safe environment.
