Mater Private Hospital Gold Coast is seeking a Registered Nurse to work within our Surgical team, based at our Gold Coast Campus. This permanent part-time role is 32 hours per week at a 339-bed facility offering a range of specialties including Emergency, Orthopaedics, Neurosurgery, Oncology and more.

About the role

Mater Private Hospital Gold Coast is seeking a Registered Nurse to work within our Surgical team. This position will be employed on a permanent part-time basis, 32 hours per week. Mater has finalised the strategic acquisition of Healthscope’s Gold Coast Private Hospital, this is a significant milestone in Mater’s commitment to delivering exceptional and compassionate care to Queensland communities.

Based at our Gold Coast Campus, this role will be part of our state-of-the-art 339 bed facility located in Southport. This facility was established in 2016 and offers a wide range of specialities across Emergency, Medical Services, Orthopaedics, Bariatrics, Neurosurgery, Plastics, ENT, General Surgery, Obstetrics, Cardiac Care and Oncology.

Salary range: $44.06 - $56.52 per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!

• Displaying the highest level of clinical standards for the unit

About you

To be successful in your application, you will have:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum of 12 months postgraduate experience in an acute care hospital setting
• Proven clinical competency and the ability to maintain the highest standards of nursing care
• Effective communication and clinical problem-solving skills to maximize patient care and outcomes
• Knowledge and commitment to continuous improvement of health care and nursing practice
