NSW Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Shoalhaven Community Health site. This temporary part-time role covers 20 hours per week, with responsibilities across ambulatory and primary health care, including assessment, planning, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.

The position requires current AHPRA RN registration, NSW driver’s licence, and at least one year of post-graduate experience. Eligible for annual salary packaging and 12% superannuation.

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the provision of person centred; evidence- based nursing care that promotes positive health outcomes. The Registered nurse will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

The Registered Nurse will work in therapeutic and professional relationships with individuals, as well as families, groups and communities. The Registered Nurse will assist in the provision of supervision and support for less experienced clinicians and will maintain their professional accountability and development in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Board Australia's Standards of Practice.

All staff are expected to act as an appropriate and effective role model and promote culture and supporting practices that reflect the NSW Health CORE values of Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment through demonstrated behaviours and interactions with patients, clients and employees

In addition, please note you must have the following essential requirements:

• Applicable vaccination requirements for a Category A role.
• Working With Children Check (WWCC)
• Current registration with the Australia Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse 2nd Year
• Current NSW drivers licence class C.
• A minimum of one (1) year full-time postgraduate employment (or 1982 hours part time/casual) within Australia.

This is a temporary leave relief position until 12 September 2027 with the possibility of extension.

An eligibility list and/or talent pool may be created where candidates may be offered casual, ongoing permanent, or temporary full-time or part-time positions within 18 months of the job advertisement closing.
