Job summary

NSW Justice Health & Forensic Mental Health Network is seeking Registered Nurses (RN2-8) for the Primary Care team at Junee Correctional Centre. Various roles are available with a focus on comprehensive nursing assessments and detainee health management.

Qualified nurses registered with AHPRA and at least one year of RN experience are invited to apply. The roles offer hourly pay with superannuation and opportunities for training and career progression.

Responsibilities

The Role

We’re currently looking for a qualified Registered Nurse currently registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) and at least one full year of nursing experience working as a Registered Nurse.

The Registered Nurse performs reception screening and comprehensive health assessments on persons received into custody whilst assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing management.
