St Vincent’s Private Community Hospital Griffith is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RN) with anaesthetic and PACU experience to join the PACU team. The role focuses on specialised post-anaesthetic care, continuous assessment, monitoring, pain control, and early detection of complications after surgery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' Registered Nursing experience in theatres environment is required.
• Minimum 12 months experience in Anaesthetics and Post Anaesthetics Care Unit (PACU) and facilitating a safe recovery.
• Current AHPRA Registration (no restriction) DIV 1.
• Collaborating with surgeons, anaesthetists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintaining detailed patient records and documenting all nursing interventions.
• Excellent interpersonal and well-developed communication skills.
• Floor manager experience or willingness to develop in this space would be highly desired.

About the role:
