Job summary

A health service provider in New South Wales is seeking Registered Nurses for permanent full-time or part-time positions. You will play a critical role in surgical and orthopaedic care, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality patient care. Candidates must be Registered Nurses with demonstrated clinical skills in an acute hospital setting. This role offers a remuneration range of $36.39 - $51.09 per hour, with a commitment to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.

Where you'll be working: Ryde Hospital, Nursing team in Ward 6. Ryde Hospital is having an incredible $479 million complete hospital redevelopment that will transform the delivery of healthcare for the Ryde local community.

What you'll be doing: Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individual/s and the greater health care team to achieve quality patient care outcome.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

  • Registered Nurse - Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Current clinical knowledge and clinical problem solving ability.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • An understanding of the professional, ethical and legal requirements of the Registered Nurse.
  • Please describe your recent experience working as a Registered Nurse in a surgical and/or orthopaedic ward within an acute hospital setting, including an example that demonstrates your clinical skills, ability to prioritise patient care and recognise and manage acute deterioration.
