Job summary

Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney seeks a Registered Nurse to join the NSW Health team. You will provide patient-centred, evidence-informed nursing care and work with a multidisciplinary team to achieve health outcomes.

The role requires current nursing registration with AHPRA, strong critical thinking, and excellent communication. Shifts are Monday to Friday mornings; prior theatre or anaesthetics experience is desirable. Full working rights in Australia apply.

Qualifications

• Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
• Understanding of evidence-informed practice and critical thinking.
• Effective interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication within a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to work Monday to Friday morning shifts, with varying start times.
• Experience in Operating Theatres or Anaesthetics is desirable.
• Recent surgical nursing experience in a tertiary referral centre is desirable.
• All candidates must have full working rights within Australia.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
