Job summary

Bolton Clarke Farnorha in Cairns is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive clinical care to residents, supporting independence and wellbeing. You will monitor residents, participate in clinical decision-making, and build therapeutic relationships within a collaborative team.

You will hold current AHPRA registration, have at least 12 months RN experience, and demonstrate strong communication with residents and families.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration and nursing qualification.
• Minimum 12 months RN experience; in-charge desired.
• Valid working rights in Australia.
• NDIS Worker Screening and/or National Police check (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families and staff.
• Passion for elderly care and professional growth.

As a Registered Nurse, you'll provide a range of clinical care and support services for our residents, assisting them to experience a greater level of independence and ensuring their health and wellness are supported. These include:

• Providing and monitoring the care of residents

• Developing appropriate therapeutic and caring relationships
• Collaborating with the health care team to achieve resident outcomes

To be successful, you will have

• Relevant qualifications and AHPRA registration
• Minimum of 12 months experience as a Registered Nurse (desirable in-charge)
• Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
• NDIS Workers Screen and or a National Police check (or willingness to obtain) prior to commencement
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families and all levels of staff
• Strong passion for working with the elderly and dedication to professional growth
