Job summary

Juniper Annesley in Bentley, Western Australia, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for our aged care team. You will assess residents’ clinical needs, coordinate care with healthcare professionals, and implement person-centred care plans with residents and families.

You will lead care staff, administer medications, and ensure high-quality clinical care in a supportive residential setting. AHPRA registration and aged care experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• 2+ years’ experience as an RN in an aged care setting.
• Ability to guide staff in wound and diabetes management.
• Strong understanding of medication systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical assessments and respond to changes in resident health and wellbeing.
• Develop, implement and review person-centred care plans in partnership with residents and their families.
• Administer medications and provide clinical treatments in line with professional standards.
• Provide leadership, mentoring and guidance to care staff.
• Liaise with GPs, allied health professionals and external providers to coordinate resident care.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and reporting.
• Support AN-ACC assessments and ensure accurate clinical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, policies and best practice.
• Participate in infection prevention, risk management and quality improvement initiatives

About The Role

Juniper Annesley, located in Bentley is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our supportive residential aged care team.

In this role, you will assess residents’ clinical needs, coordinate care with healthcare professionals, and implement and review person-centred care plans. You will also provide guidance to care staff and help ensure high standards of clinical care for residents.

We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse who is passionate about aged care and committed to delivering safe, high-quality care.

Shift Information

Week 1: Thursday 21:15pm to 07:15 am, Friday 21:15pm to 07:15 am

Week 2: Thursday 21:15pm to 07:15 am, Friday 21:15pm to 07:15 am

Key Responsibilities

Key Requirements

• Ability to guide staff in wound and diabetes management
• Sound understanding of medication systems
• Excellent communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills
