Job summary

St Vincent's Private Melbourne is seeking a part-time nurse (30 hours per week) on a fixed-term contract until 31 May 2027 to join our nursing team in planning and delivering high‑standard care. You will provide patient-centered care, work within an acute hospital surgical unit, and coordinate discharge planning with the team.

Applicants must hold a current AHPRA registration and demonstrate solid clinical and problem-solving skills in an acute setting, while embracing teamwork and customer

• Delivery of patient-centred care that coordinates individualised care from admission and throughout hospitalisation, incorporating discharge planning in the plan of care.
• Facilitating communication between the patient, family, medical, nursing, ancillary, and allied health staff.
• Initiating referrals and utilises available resources for the purpose of comprehensive care to patients and families.
