Job summary

Queensland Health in Mount Isa is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical Ward. You will deliver patient-centred nursing care across a range of medical specialties, including cardiac, respiratory and renal, in a 20-bed ward.

Join a supportive, multidisciplinary team and mentor Enrolled Nurses, Assistants in Nursing and students while developing your clinical skills in a diverse North West Queensland setting.

Qualifications

• Mandatory: relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences.
• C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
• Pre-employment screening including Criminal History checks.
• Vaccination evidence or immunity may be required for Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis.

If you stay for 2 years you will get AUD$11,140; and for your 3rd year (and every year after that) you will get AUD$7,426 (pro rata for part time employees).* **In your downtime,** we will provide 2 return airfares p.a. (full time employees) (inc. spouse/dependents) or 1 return airfare p.a.
