Job summary

The Canberra Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse Level 1 to join the MHJHADS Nursing Foundation Program. This full-time, temporary position provides hands-on experience across Mental Health, Justice Health, Alcohol and Drug Services, and Forensic Mental Health with expert mentors and diverse rotations.

You will build clinical skills and confidence in a supportive environment, with flexible working conditions and access to salary packaging and relocation reimbursement for eligible interstate

Qualifications

• Current nursing registration and eligibility to practice in ACT.
• Willingness to participate in mental health, justice health, alcohol and other drug services, and forensic settings.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Rotations across Mental Health, Justice Health, Alcohol and Other Drug Services, and Forensic Mental Health.
• Participate in mentorship, education and clinical leadership initiatives.
• Develop clinical skills and confidence for a rewarding specialty nursing career.

Salary: $82,993 - $108,780 (Plus 12.5% Super)
