Job summary

Respect Ingham Lodge is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver safe, person-centred care to residents. Reporting to the Care Manager and General Manager, you will work with a supportive team to uphold dignity and comfort.

This role offers flexible hours including full-time, part-time or casual, with a roster determined in consultation. You will participate in GP rounds, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve outstanding resident outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Current registration with AHPRA.
  • Knowledge of Residential Classification Scale and Aged Care Quality Standards.
  • Current National Police Certificate or ability to obtain one.
  • Understanding of government standards and legislative requirements for aged care.
  • Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Understanding of the aged care accreditation process.

Responsibilities

  • Compile a comprehensive history from residents and/or family members to identify care needs through resident admissions and ongoing assessments.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical documentation that reflects care delivery.
  • Develop, implement, and regularly evaluate resident care plans, and assist with admission assessments.
  • Provide direct clinical care to residents as required, including personal hygiene, pain management, massage therapy, and GP rounds participation.
  • Administer medications and ensure correct ordering, storage, and documentation procedures are followed according to policies.
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional resident outcomes.

Respect Ingham Lodge is seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Nurse to join our supportive team on a Full or Part time or casual basis. The roster will be determined in consultation with our new Staff member.

About The Role

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing safe, competent, and contemporary clinical nursing care to residents within the scope of practice as determined by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Reporting directly to the Care Manager and General Manager, the Registered Nurse plays an integral role in delivering high-quality, person-centred care while supporting the wellbeing, dignity, and independence of residents.

Key Duties
  • Compile a comprehensive history from residents and/or family members to identify care needs through resident admissions and ongoing assessments.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical documentation that reflects care delivery.
  • Develop, implement, and regularly evaluate resident care plans, and assist with admission assessments.

Essential Requirements
