Job summary

Norwest Private Hospital in Sydney's North West region is seeking an ICU Registered Nurse (Full Time) to join a 19-bed ICU. This role offers full scope critical care, collaboration with experienced clinicians and ongoing development in a high-acuity environment.

You will provide evidence-based ICU care, manage ventilated patients and work with a multidisciplinary team to support patients and families through recovery and end-of-life care. NSW health standards apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years ICU experience, including mechanical ventilation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
• Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification.

As an ICU Registered Nurse, you will provide evidence-based care to patients with complex and high-acuity needs while supporting patients and families through challenging and often life-changing experiences.

You will:

About You

You are a confident and compassionate ICU nurse who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering outstanding patient outcomes.

• Minimum 3 years recent ICU experience, including mechanical ventilation
• Postgraduate Certificate in Critical Care/ICU (or currently undertaking)
• Demonstrated commitment to quality and patient safety
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Current Working With Children Check
• Knowledge of and compliance with ACQSHC National Standards
• Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification

If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF – NSW Nurses and Midwives’ – Enterprise Agreement 2024, a salary ranging from $40.26-$56.54per hour.
