Job summary

For Purpose Aged Care in Tamworth is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Holiday Relief Role to deliver high-quality, person-centred care to residents. The successful candidate will join a supportive team, maintain dignity and independence for residents, and flexibly cover planned and unplanned leave across the home.

Ideal applicants have 2+ years in residential aged care as an RN, are proficient with electronic systems, and can work 64–76 hours per fortnight with no restrictions on

About the Role:

As a Registered Nurse, you will provide person-centered care and support to our residents while working collaboratively with the broader care team. These positions are specifically designed to provide coverage for planned and unplanned staff leave within the home.

Due to the nature of this role, a successful applicant must be available to work across a variety of shifts and days as required.

Essential Requirements:

To be considered for these positions, applicants must meet all of the following criteria:

• Minimum 2 years' experience working in residential aged care as an RN
• Proficient with electronic systems
• Ability to work 64–76 hours per fortnight
• No restrictions on hours, days, or shift availability
• Flexibility to work morning, afternoon, night, weekend, and public holiday shifts as required
• Commitment to providing holiday and leave relief across the home
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• National Police Check (within the last 12 months)
• Current First Aid

What We're Looking For:

We are seeking reliable, adaptable, and compassionate RN who can seamlessly support the home during periods of staff leave. Flexibility and availability are essential, as this role requires a team member who can respond to changing roster requirements and provide consistent care coverage throughout the year.
