Job summary

Tamworth Community Aged Care is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to supervise and guide a team of Enrolled Nurses and Personal Care Assistants. You will deliver compassionate, resident-centered care while supporting a values-driven workplace.

This permanent role requires AHPRA registration, excellent communication, leadership and teamwork, and a commitment to continuous improvement in aged care. A not-for-profit setting emphasizes collaboration and employee wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Empathy and genuine care for residents.

• Natural leadership to guide ENs and PCAs in daily care.
• Team-oriented mindset and collaboration across shifts.
• AHPRA registration current and unrestricted is required.
• Commitment to continuous improvement in care quality.

• Strong time management to coordinate tasks efficiently.
• Comfort with using digital tools and care documentation.
• Good clinical judgment and decision-making.
• National Police Check is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of ENs and PCAs to deliver resident-centred care.
• Collaborate with the care team to plan and review care plans.
• Ensure high-quality, compliant care and patient safety.
• Promote collaboration, accountability, respect and empathy within the team.
• Mentor and develop junior staff and supervise student placements.
