Job summary

Main Street Medical Centre in Hervey Bay is seeking a Registered Nurse for a permanent, full-time role with family-friendly weekday hours. New graduates and experienced RNs are equally welcome to apply.

You will work in a busy general practice, assisting GPs, providing immunisations and wound care, and supporting health assessments and disease care plans while keeping Best Practice records. A structured orientation and supportive team are offered.

About us

Main Street Medical Centre in Pialba has been caring for the Fraser Coast community since 1983. We're a bulk-billing GP and skin cancer clinic, AGPAL accredited, and an accredited training practice with the RACGP and ACRRM. Our work has a strong focus on:

• Preventive health
• Chronic disease management
• Women's and men's health
• Skin cancer medicine

You'll work alongside experienced GPs, GP registrars and a supportive team of registered and enrolled nurses.

What's on offer

• Permanent full-time role, 38 hours per week
• Day shifts Monday to Friday, between 7:15 am and 5:30 pm, with no evenings, weekends or public holidays
• Structured orientation to general practice nursing, with mentoring from experienced practice nurses
