Metro North Health in Brisbane is seeking dedicated nurses for permanent full-time and part-time opportunities to provide contemporary evidence-based consumer/patient focused care in collaboration with the interprofessional healthcare team to facilitate optimal health outcomes.

Ideal candidates will apply clinical nursing expertise in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation, while maintaining accountability for actions within the scope of practice.

Qualifications

• Nursing practice in line with ethics, standards and legislation.
• Deliver patient-centered care through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Respond promptly to changes in patient health status with appropriate nursing interventions.

Responsibilities

• Practice in accordance with code of ethics, professional standards and legislation affecting nursing practice by maintaining current knowledge and competence within scope of position.
• Apply clinical nursing expertise, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to deliver a high standard of consumer/patient centred care.
• Respond appropriately to sudden alterations in the health status of the consumer/patient using comprehensive nursing assessment and intervention skills.
