Job summary

Hunter New England Local Health District's Maitland Hospital is expanding its Emergency Department and invites experienced Registered Nurses to apply. You’ll deliver safe, patient-centred care in a fast-paced environment while contributing to a growing team.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse within the Emergency Department, you'll provide safe, compassionate, person-centred care while working collaboratively with patients, families and a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best possible outcomes. You'll contribute to evidence-based practice, support continuous improvement initiatives and play an important role in mentoring and supporting colleagues as you continue to develop your own clinical expertise.

About You

• Current AHPRA registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
• Recent acute care experience, with Emergency Department experience highly regarded.
• Excellent clinical assessment, communication and problem-solving skills.
• A collaborative approach and commitment to delivering exceptional patient-centred care.
