Job summary

Talent Quarter invites experienced Emergency Department nurses to join a busy, well-regarded ED in Canberra. You will work with a multidisciplinary team caring for resus, trauma, paediatrics, mental health and general ED presentations.

Qualifications

• Must be an AHPRA-registered RN with current registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent and emergency care to a diverse patient mix in a fast-paced ED.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and orientation.
• Maintain patient safety and advocate for patients and families.

About you:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Previous emergency department experience
• Triage experience or ED-specific qualifications (e.g. Graduate Certificate in Emergency Nursing) highly regarded
• Current ALS/BLS certification, or willingness to obtain
• Strong clinical judgement, composure under pressure, and a team-first approach
• Availability to work a rotating roster, including night shifts
