Job summary

The Mater Private Hospital Mackay Emergency Care Centre is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team on a permanent, part-time basis (32 hours per week). The unit operates from 8am to 10pm, seven days a week, delivering adult and paediatric emergency services.

You will hold current AHPRA registration, preferably with emergency nursing experience, and demonstrate strong communication and clinical problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (no restrictions).
• Experience in emergency care nursing would be highly regarded.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and clinical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to continued quality improvement and best practice principles.

Registered Nurse - Emergency Care Centre

The Mater Private Hospital Mackay is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join their team in the Emergency Care Centre on a permanent, part-time basis - 32 hours a week.

The Mater Private Hospital Mackay Emergency Care Centre is open from 8am to 10pm, 7 days a week and is a fee-for-service emergency centre run by experienced emergency doctors and nursing staff, providing both adult and paediatric emergency services.

Mater Private Hospital Mackay has been delivering exceptional clinical and pastoral care since 1927. Located on the northern bank of the Pioneer River since 2003, our modern 105-bed facility includes five operating theatres, a fully equipped day surgery unit, and a range of specialist services.

Salary range: $44.06 - $56.52 per hour plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900+ access to many staff benefits!
