Prince of Wales Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurses to join our 5 East Ward. We are looking for someone that has expertise in cardiothoracic, interventional cardiology, vascular and ENT surgeries. You will play a key role within a supportive team in ensuring high levels of patient care is provided.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care
  • Provide complex and multi-disciplinary care
  • Work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs
  • Act as a role model for Safe Practice
  • Supervise, direct and support nursing team members
  • Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs
  • Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care

Authority to Work in Australia

Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent

Current Registration (no restriction) with AHPRA

At least 2 years’ experience as Registered Nurse in cardiothoracic, interventional cardiology, vascular and ENT surgery.

Clinical experience in one or more of the stated specialties.

Compliance with ACQSHC National standards

Clinical expertise and commitment to high quality patient care and continuous improvement

Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high functioning team

Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated and customer focused

If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF – NSW Nurses and Midwives’ – Enterprise Agreement, a salary ranging from $40.26- $56.54 per hour
