St Vincent’s Public Hospital in Sydney is seeking a Registered Nurse (Year 2 - 8) for the Day Procedure Centre. You will provide pre-operative admission and day-of-surgery recovery, delivering evidence-based nursing care across diverse patients and ensuring smooth coordination within a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires current Australian RN registration, 2+ years post-graduate experience, and strong teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.

Formación

• Currently registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Authority.
• Demonstrated ability to work within the interdisciplinary team using effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated evidence of integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills, critical thinking and analysis in daily practice.
• Demonstrated effective time management and ability to prioritise competing workloads in a complex environment.
• Minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience and experience in acute care settings.

Responsabilidades

• Join our Day Procedure Centre for pre-operative admission and day of surgery recovery.
• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to a diverse patient population.
• Lead and coordinate patient care, liaising with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Work independently and with a team, guiding enrolled nurses and healthcare workers.
• One additional day off accrued per month.
