Where you'll be working Located in the heart of the New England region, Barraba is a welcoming rural community surrounded by the beautiful landscapes of the New England North West.
Community nursing in Barraba offers something different from a traditional hospital environment. You’ll get to know your patients and their families, develop strong relationships within the community and have the autonomy to manage your own caseload while being supported by a broader multidisciplinary team.
About the role As a Registered Nurse within Barraba Community Health Service, you’ll provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with a range of health needs.
You’ll work both independently and collaboratively to deliver safe, compassionate care in line with best practice.
You’ll have access to ongoing clinical support and education from Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Nurse Consultants (CNCs) and Clinical Nurse Specialists (CNSs), as well as a range of online learning platforms.
