$99,455 to $105,995 per annum + 12% super

Join our award-winning team of Clinical Nursing and Midwifery Educators and Clinical Facilitators who work across the North West of Tasmania as patient safety guardians. We build the clinical skills of the whole multidisciplinary team to respond to patient deterioration. We develop innovative evidence-based programs to build the clinical competence of nurses across the spectrum of practice. Participate in whole of health service simulation exercises. Learn and grow with us. Positions are available at Northwest Regional Hospital and Mersey Community Hospital.

The Role:

  • Develop the clinical competencies of the Emergency Department team
  • Supervise and mentor Junior team members
  • Support the education program in the Emergency Department
  • You will need to have strong emergency nursing skills and have completed your own resus and triage training.
  • You will need to have a desire to support the team through education and be willing to learn and develop your own education assessment skills.

Details of appointment:

Multiple Permanent, full time and part time, shift worker (fully rotational) position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from a mutually agreed date.

Salary:$99,455 to $105,995 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.

In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:

  • Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type
