Job summary

Royal North Shore Hospital in New South Wales is seeking a Paediatric Registered Nurse to join the Child and Adolescent team. You will work in a level 4 unit caring for children aged 0-17 across medical, surgical, orthopaedic, ENT, plastics and mental health services, with support for education and research.

The Child and Adolescent unit is a level 4 unit consisting of a 20 bedded in patient ward, a short stay ward and outpatient clinics. We cater for children from 0-17 years who are admitted to the unit. Our main specialities include medical, surgical, orthopaedic, ENT, plastics and mental health. We are a welcoming team and offer a supportive fun environment to all staff joining the team. The senior nursing support team includes full time NUM, CNE, CNC and CNS 2’s. The unit has a strong philosophy of quality improvement and family centred care. Royal North Shore Hospital has a positive culture and actively encourages staff to develop. Support is offered for research studies and post graduate qualifications.
