Job summary

Silverchain is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Carnarvon community team on a Full Time basis. You’ll travel within Carnarvon and surrounding areas to provide one-on-one care, focusing on wound and catheter management and chronic disease support.

We welcome applications from experienced Enrolled Nurses as well and offer allowances, relocation support, a pool car for community visits, and a comprehensive training program.

Qualifications

• Current Registration with the AHPRA, with zero notations.
• 2+ years post-grad broad experience in general nursing.
• A current Working with Children’s check.
• Strong experience in wound and catheter care.
• Compassion and enthusiasm, with a friendly approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide community-based nursing care and assessments during home visits.
• Manage wounds and catheter care as part of chronic disease management.
• Educate clients and carers on care plans and self-management.
• Document care activities and communicate with the care team.

What we're looking for

You will be an experienced, multi-skilled Registered Nurse. Using your exceptional clinical assessment, decision-making and problem-solving skills and abilities, you will provide an optimum standard of care to our clients, making a real contribution to their health outcomes.

• Strong experience in Wound and Catheter care.
• Advanced Clinical assessment skills.
• 2+ years Post Grad broad experience in general nursing.
• Current Registration with the AHPRA, with zero notations.
• A current Working with Children’s check.
• Compassion and enthusiasm, with a friendly approach.
• Excellent Communicational skills both Verbal and written.
• A current full Australian driver’s licence.
