Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District is seeking a Registered Nurse for a temporary role in the Hawkesbury District Hospital maternity services. You will join the Antenatal and Postnatal Ward, delivering high-quality, woman-centred care to mothers and babies while developing your clinical skills in a supportive multidisciplinary team.

Successful applicants will undertake a Postgraduate Midwifery training by the end of year three of the contract and will be supported by experienced

What you will bring to the role

1. Current registration as a Registered Nurse Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency AHPRA.
2. Demonstrated experience and clinical skill in nursing as a Registered Nurse including completion of a new graduate Registered Nurse program or equivalent experience working as a Registered Nurse.
3. Demonstrated capacity to provide effective nursing care that is person centred, family inclusive and culturally sensitive to people accessing health services.
4. Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work.
5. Demonstrated effective communications written and verbal skills.
6. Demonstrated commitment to professional development.
7. Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
