Job summary

Chris O’Brien Lifehouse in Sydney is seeking an experienced Anaesthetic Nurse to join our team across 10 operating theatres and an Interventional Suite. You will provide essential nursing care before and during anaesthesia, supporting complex surgical cases with a patient-centered approach.

Essential criteria include current AHPRA registration, a minimum of 1 year post-registration experience in anaesthetics, and excellent time management and communication skills.

The Opportunity

Our anaesthetic nursing service supports 10 operating theatres, an Interventional Suite and a procedure room that performs a wide range of surgical specialties. Our specialities include thoracic, Head and Neck, ENT, Upper GI, Colorectal, Urology, Gynaecology, Breast and Plastics. The anaesthetic nurse is essential to the provision of highly skilled care for our patients before and during anaesthesia. Highly developed practical skills, a patient centred approach to care and the ability to work as effective member of the team will see you excel in this role.

Essential Criteria

• Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Registration Association (AHPRA).
• Minimum 1 years full time equivalent post registration experience in Anaesthetics.

• Excellent time management and communication skills.
